Typography is probably our favorite trend in web design. It really plans an important roles apart from pictures. Without a perfect and correct placement of typo, it might not completely deliver it desires message. Typography doesn’t necessarily have to be fancy, custom fonts. Even simple and bold font are attractive enought to capture your attention. Try to explore and twist the font to fit multi purposes.
4) Infographics
More ot less designers are using conceptual graphic model called inforgraphics to deliver information in just a few clicks. Infographics can help you spread ideas and attract attention as they make information more appealing and more persuasive. The trend of infographics to present information in web sites has become more and more popular since last year. However, please be alert that some graphical layout could not be for everybody, nor appropriate for every single career and industry. It is all depending on the type of web site you wish to create.
5) Huge Vector Art
Vector art has been use widely since many years ago but it seems become more popular in the last few months and will continue to be so in 2012. Most designers now prefer to use company mascot or icons tied into web branding when developed certain website. It is a good marketing method to brand a company and create awareness!
6) Minimalist Design
Minimalist design ‘make the simple things simple. It is kind of design that embody the most basic and fundamental needs.This trend has been around for some time, and today it seems getting popular and widely use. Minimalism isn’t cold, it’s warm and to the point.
7) Magazine Layout
Many web designers today are moving away from the traditional layout of web site. While at the same time, we started to notice a few trends that seem to be emerging in web site layouts such as magazine layout. This kind of design creating a sense appeal to anyone who love to read a magazine or newspaper. We can see that information is carefully organized on a single home page, with attractive design and pictures. This kind of website is a great idea for those who have huge contents to fit in. In 2012, i believe magazine layout will getting popular especially with the free sources from wordpress theme!
